I like the gear and the thought of it however they have to get off of their cell phones and turn their heads to see it.

Being in the Highway Traffic Safety Products biz, I can certainly speak to it's effectiveness for visibility. I sell tons of vests, t shirts, sweatshirts and jackets to municipalities for their street workers to help keep safe out on the mean streets. Great stuff.

I really should wear one of the High Viz jackets while riding, for my own safety. Perhaps a future purchase.

I just bought the mesh version of this coat when I was at bike week last week. My son says it looks like someone took a highlighter and colored me.

I also purchased a hi-viz jacket for this season. I see riders far earlier when they are wearing hi-viz. Isn't my first choice of color but if it helps people notice me then it's worth it, I guess

I've been contemplating buying Hi-Viz gear, but I just look so damn good in black. My vanity is my greatest downfall... next in line being my inability to say anything without sarcasm.

I personally think that the alpine stars jacket looks pretty sick.
I can't really afford that kind of gear quite yet, but all I have is a black http://www.motorcyclehouse.com/Motor...ts-For-Men.htm with 2 reflective strips in across LOL.
Hopefully I don't die before I can afford some real quality gear.
