Default Goldwings and Heavy Cruiser Tire Service

Sigh... I just dropped some coinage on new accessories for my NoMar tire changer. Next week I will be equipped to swap GL1800 tires. This also applies to you guys with gigantic bikes like the Victory Vision, BMW and the like.

I'll post up a pic of the goodies when they're installed and ready to go. However, for your viewing pleasure, this is what's involved in swapping a tire on your 'Wing...

Oh.. the adapters I bought also allow me to service spoke wheels, like those on BMW, Tigers, Harleys, etc.

I'll just be the first one to ask......

Can you put a car tire on a Wing?

How about a wheelbarrow tire?

Very nice Pauly I love my no-mar. But doing stiff sidewalls with the original blocks were a PITA. I can fully understand the addition of the rim clamps

I was trying to swap the rear tire from a Victory Vision. Holy crap... what a giant pita. There's no way that's happening without the posi-clamps. I almost had a heat stroke.

I guess, but that seems kind of counter-productive.. doesn't it?

You won't find a lot of wings around anymore without a car tar on the back, at least after the first set of MC tars wear out.

I must be on my fifth set of motorcycle tires but don't eat as much or often as you typical wingers so there's no need for truck tires.

I personally know of 14 members on this small forum alone that would totally disagree.

Sometimes it's not easy finding someone to do things right. Best to you on mucho business.
